Dates : April 2019, one-year renewable

Reports to : Marketing Manager / Area Manager - Africa & Indian Ocean

Location : Based in Accra, Ghana

Job Objective : Responsible for the growth and representation of the Rémy Cointreau Group brands in Ghana

We are searching for a Brand Activator with a start date in April 2020 for a one-year renewable contract based in Accra, Ghana.

The role is part of our EMEA office and will work in collaboration with a local distributor, the objectives are as follows :

Main Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with high-end On and Off trade accounts
  • Motivate and educate key customers in the On and Off trade to ensure :
  • Brands availability
  • Brands visibility
  • Brands activation
  • Ensure AVA standards comply with brands guidelines & strategies
  • Engage and recruit target consumers to build a network / community who will generate organic word of mouth campaigns
  • Establish and maintain customer / consumer relationships through a high level of service
  • Represent and promote brands at all touch points (Rémy Cointreau team, Distributors, Customers, Consumers, Press)
  • Conduct product training for customers, bar staff and consumers
  • In conjunction with the sales team and Area Managers meet brands sales volume objectives to capitalize on possible opportunities / developments
  • Responsible for event management
  • Generate new business opportunities including B2B and associated brand partnerships
  • Develop and maintain an online data base of customers and consumers
  • Target organic growth through consumers specific needs and requests
  • Inventory and stock maintenance
  • Ensure Advertising & Promotion budget for activations is managed correctly
  • Build monthly report(s) :
  • Consumer and trade insights
  • Competitor activity and market trends
  • Results of Rémy Cointreau brands activations
  • Compile monthly price comparison report
  • Include Micro and Macro elements report from distribution partners
  • Profile

    Motivated, autonomous, personable, and articulate with an ability to communicate at all business levels from bartender to Managing Director

  • Business degree, preferably in Marketing / Sales
  • Fluent in English
  • Computer literate, proficient with (MS Office) and building databases
  • Organized, attention to detail and able to multi-task
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Culturally aware, high level of professionalism
  • Natural interest for the W&S industry, previous experience a bonus
  • Experience as a Brand Ambassador / Sales Representative / Trade Marketer is a plus
