Job Brief :

The company seeks hard-working, competitive and responsible individuals to take responsibility for regions within the rapidly developing African market.

As a Regional Sales Director you act as a general manager who builds up and leads a team of entrepreneurs to introduce and further develop sales of Power Tools products and ensures that Company outperforms the competition in all relevant segments.

Responsibilities :

  • Improve market position across all Power Tools segments
  • Collaborate with Business Developers to design & implement various distribution solutions using internal or 3rd party structures based on local demands
  • Develop & deploy regional sales strategies, processes and structures
  • Achieve regional sales and budgetary targets; realize marketing & service goals
  • Recruit, select, orient, train, coach, audit, discipline, & motivate associates
  • Develop regional personnel to create an upwardly-mobile local talent pool
  • Develop & deploy subordinate associate targets & goals
  • Establish and maintain direct contact with customers
  • Develop customers through customer relationship building & management
  • Oversee and support key customer & business partner consultations
  • Lead the development of promotional concepts and programs
  • Introduce and implement Power Tools Sales Excellence principles
  • Act as a primary point of contact for collaboration with central functions
  • Analyze user, customer and competitor trends; introduce sales countermeasures and propose product countermeasures as needed
  • Requirement

  • University / college degree
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in sales and marketing, preferably in trade of consumer durable or industrial products
  • High commitment and dedication to achieve targets
  • Leadership experience, managerial and analytical skills
  • Entrepreneurial, highly customer-oriented personality
  • Ability to influence and manage in a matrix organization
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant local market is an advantage
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
  • Culturally sensitive and able to work effectively in an international environment
  • Language : Excellent English obligatory, French, Portuguese and any other local language are an advantage
