The incumbent in this position is responsible for ensuring oversight of facility operations, ensuring that customers are satisfied, managing employees’ schedules and performance, as well as working to make sure the salon is profitable.
The Overall objective is to take 100% responsibility in delivering and exceeding the guests’ expectations in accordance with Resense’s spa vision, core values and all related brand standards, procedures and policies.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Relevant Hairdressing certifications.
Recognised sales courses an advantage.
Previous Spa knowledge desirable
Five years salon management experience in an international standard salon.
Team leader & team player.
Highly accomplished & proven hairstylist.
Salon supervision skills.
Salon training skills.
Carried out VIP and journalist treatments at key events.
Experience in stock control and management.
Prepare and present monthly budget reports and take responsibility for salon P&L and costs.
Effective scheduling of salon employees.
To conduct selection interviews and trade test when required.
Assist with the management of the spa operations in all aspects.
Computer literate. (Advanced level)
Articulate verbal communication.
Self-motivated & Enthusiastic.
High level of customer service.
Impeccable grooming and presentation.

Willing to work shift hours including nights and weekends.
To ensure operations department maintains a positive relationship with all departments in the spa and hotel.
Responsible for all aspects of operations employees’ i.e. hiring, recognition, progressive corrective action.
Responsible for the efficient training of all salon employees in all aspects of job tasks.
To ensure employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel's policy relating to safety.
Responsible for all spa departments training in pertinent emergency procedures and ensuring all departments are well versed in Salon operations (cross training).
To ensure all employees adhere to all hotel standards as stated in the employee handbook.
To conduct salon department performance appraisals on a timely manner.
