Job Summary

The selected applicant will be responsible for preparing, and reconciling accounts and other financial documents.

  • Petty Cash Management
  • Process petty cash request
  • Ensure petty cash request arecomplete and accurate
  • Ensure receipts or invoices areobtained for all transactions
  • Disbursement of petty cash
  • Petty cash reconciliationstatements
  • Enter petty cash transactionsinto ERP
  • Process payment for all duebills
  • Post and process journal entriesto ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Reconcile the group’s bankaccounts by compiling and balancing financial information
  • Maintain accounting records ofall subsidiaries using balance sheet analysis and general ledger accounts
  • Update accounts receivable andissue invoices
  • Update accounts payable andperform reconciliations
  • Process balance sheets, incomestatements and other financial statements according to legal and companyaccounting and financial guidelines
  • Assist with reviewing ofexpenses, payroll records etc.
  • Updatefinancial data in databases and ERP to ensure that information will be accurateand immediately available when needed
  • Coordinatewith management and staff to prepare budgets
  • Preparemonthly and yearly closings
  • Prepareand submit weekly reports to the CEO
  • Performother duties as assigned
  • Educational Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelorof Commerce (BCOM) degree
  • 1to 2 years working experience in a similar position
  • Havinga professional certificate (ACCA / CA / CIMA) is an added advantage

  • Excellentverbal and written communication skills
  • Highproficiency in mathematics
  • Advancedproficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software packages
  • Asolid understanding of account and financial reporting principles and practices
