  • Fluently bilingual, English and French, superior verbal and written communication skills (Mandatory!!)
  • A minimum HND Holder or equivalence in secretaryship with at least 5 years working experience
  • Advanced systems skills a must (Word, Excel, Databases, Power Point, Outlook, mail merges, etc.)
  • Discretion with confidential information
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability
  • Strong organizational, research and time management skills
  • Sound analytical thinking, judgment, planning, prioritization and execution skills

  • acting as a first point of contact : dealing with correspondence and phone calls
  • managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the MD
  • booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
  • organising events and conferences
  • reminding the manager / executive of important tasks and deadlines
  • typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence
  • managing databases and filing systems
  • implementing and maintaining procedures / administrative systems
  • liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
  • collating and filing expenses
