Job Summary

To accomplish business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, implementing sales plans and managing staff.

    Reports to : Directors

    Department : Sales and Marketing Department

    Essential Duties

  • To achieve marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews;
  • preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems;
  • identifying trends; determining system improvements and implementing change.

  • To prepare and adhere to budgets for Marketing department
  • To grow the market, share of the company within the industry
  • To receive and address complaints from clients
  • To develop and lead a marketing team that will develop and execute new concepts and business models
  • To meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures;
  • analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.

  • To accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs and developing field sales action plans.
  • To identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses;
  • forecasting projected business and establishing targeted market.

  • To mentor sales and marketing officers
  • The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.
  • Management reserves the right to assign and change responsibilities to meet business and organizational needs as necessary.

    Qualification and Experience

  • A University degree in Marketing
  • Minimum of four (4) years relevant experience
  • Working Conditions
