Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) Limited VWFS is the vehicle funding and fleet management division of the Volkswagen Group for both retail and business user customers.

VWFS has grown year-on-year by continually developing its products and approach to managing customers.

VWFS Fleet is the multi-marque leasing division of VWFS and is seeking to appoint a Strategic Sales Manager for the North.

The role will report directly to the National Sales Manager for New Business Corporate and is tasked with increasing the large corporate customer base (Vehicle fleets in excess of 500) through new customer acquisition, supported internally by a specialised administration function.

requisite. VWFS Fleet has the objective of enhancing the group activities by working both with the brands and providing future opportunity for brand conversion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve defined Sales targets to develop new strategic customers
  • Proactively generate new sales leads for strategic new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain a close working relationship with the Volkswagen Group brands and dealer groups to create strategic new business sales opportunities
  • Develop and deliver sales proposals for new strategic customers
  • Maintain records on VWFS Fleet Corporate Relationship Management system and seek commercial approval for new strategic sales opportunities
  • Management of professional account implementation and structured handovers to the Existing Business Team
  • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience within corporate vehicle leasing and fleet management desirable
  • Solid new business sales experience within B2B environments
  • Experience of negotiation at board or executive level, seeking out the decision-makers
  • Contract tender experience
  • Highly organised is used to working to tight deadlines and able to work under own initiative
  • Proven ability to effectively manage workload within geographical locations to maximise delivery of business objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Highly sales motivated and targets driven
