Reports to Senior Sales Supervisor
Works to achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and / or market segment by selling the company’s products and / or related services.
Personally contacts and secures new business accounts / customers.
Promotes, sells and secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
Demonstrates products and services to existing and potential customers assisting them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory / market.
Quickly and satisfactorily resolves customer problems and complaints.
Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
Supplies management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Educated to HND level
Excellent communication skills and customer service skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
Strong commitment to sales and customer service with good interpersonal skills, initiative and follow-through.
Proven ability to prioritise work, meet targets and maintain a professional demeanour whilst under pressure.
A proven track record of successfully handling multiple priorities, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
Track record of working independently and as part of a team with the ability to take direction.
Readiness to learn new process, skills and technologies with an open mind and eagerness to learn.
Experience in a customer service and a sales environment
Knowledge of the telecoms industry
