Achieve agreed budget targets (sales, costs, profit) for Ghana*
Leading a (future) sales and Business Development Management team in Ghana when business growth allows for it.
Identify and follow opportunities for standard business (distribution) and project sales opportunities.
Define, create and evaluate / revise regularly suitable partner network in Ghana.
Build up structured business in Ghana for the company’s Security Technology which can serve as a basis for further expansion
Establish contracts / agreements, discounts and conditions for all dealers / distributors in Ghana in close cooperation and after agreement with Security technology / Sales Africa North organization in Casablanca, Morocco and Security technology / SER4 in Eindhoven.
Analyze sales, monitor progress and evaluate marketing / sales activities and initiate corrective actions if needed. Maintain the Rolling sales forecast, high-
and lowlights and monthly business review / report and discuss this with Security technology / Sales Africa North in Casablanca and SER4 in Eindhoven.
Create, implement and evaluate local LTP (long-term planning), budgets and SAP (sales action plan) yearly for Ghana.
In case applicable, provide effective coordination with the RLR in Ghana with respect to new partners, projects and business development.
Maintain, report and follow up monthly the project list / cross GB list / large project list
Analyze and report competitor activities in terms of their strategy, operation, product portfolio and pricing.
Minimum 5 years experience in security business, preferably in Ghana, with wide network of contacts throughout the country.
Knowledge of the project business and distribution business with regards to at least the following product lines : CCTV, Fire, Public Address systems, Congress Systems, Access, (Intrusion).
Excellent understanding of the decision making mechanism in the (local) project business.
High level sales drive / orientation.
Good understanding of Key Accounts and project management and engineering background to command respect from consultants, intermediaries and customers.
Ability to communicate at top-level with professional organizations (Contractors, Consultants, Ministries, Trade Associations etc.).
Good skills in MS-Office (word, excel, powerpoint etc.)
Willingness to travel frequently, mainly within Ghana
Experienced in organizing trainings, seminars, trade-shows and giving presentations.
Good analytical skills
Able to take decisions and create a direction for future development
Excellent communicator and business relationship builder.
Open minded person, team player.
