Job Purpose :
To support in-country procurement, generally dealing with material and services call-offs, accounts payable processes interface, vendor issues, general contract administration and cross-departmental support.
Support Post award administration requirements and the reporting of contractor performance management.
Responsibilities / Key Objectives :
Contract Management Systematically follow contract management and administration guidelines on agreed (lower value or lower risk goods and services) contracts Undertake performance surveys and performance feedback as input into supplier performance reviews for straightforward contracts Assist with minutes of meetings to capture and report on contract performance to measure value and effectiveness of incentives Administer agreed (lower value or lower risk goods and services) routine to complex contracts to ensure accuracy of pricing, scope variations and updates to terms and conditions.
Monitor and report on milestones and outcomes Manage suppliers to ensure goods, services and projects are delivered in line with agreed terms and conditions (on-time, on-cost, quality etc.
Provide reports, analysis and advise to support procurement decision-making Ensures all contract documentation is properly filed, both in hardcopy and softcopy.
Undertakes other duties within his or her capability or qualification level as may be reasonably required.
Supplier Relationships Develop appropriate supplier relationships for lower value or lower risk goods and services Assess impacts on suppliers and work to eliminate areas of unnecessary costs in straightforward categories Track and monitor benefits through supplier relationships for low risk / spend suppliers and contracts.
Address disputes, performance issues and requests for variations
Procurement Risk Management Identify areas of non-compliance to Contract & procurement procedure and raise with relevant stakeholders Identify and evaluate key risks at a contractual level for straightforward contracts and seek input from other functions as appropriate (e.
g. finance, legal etc.)
Required Skills or Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract administration or any related fields
Industrial operations / project experience, preferably in Oil and Gas environment.
Degree or Diploma in a business or management related subject.
