    Responsibilities :

  • GM will work on the daily aspects of the rental car + employee transport business applying superior management, leadership and customer service skills.
  • Identify existing and prospective sales opportunities and develop effective forecasts and business plans for the company
  • GM will be responsible for company rental fleet and monitoring of daily reservations, return counts, monitoring and controlling fleet availability, monitoring any damages and repairs, overseeing the on-site valeting operations, preventative maintenance schedules, ensure efficient utilization and effective control of vehicle inventory, to achieve the maximum revenue and profitability.
  • GM will work with a wide range of employees, customers, suppliers, and third party service providers to achieve the overall results and goals of the company
  • Ensure quality customer service, increasing sales and revenue, scheduling adequate staff coverage, handling escalated customer issues and requests, recruiting new employees and providing them with training
  • Ensure compliance to company policies with respect to customers and employees.
  • Compliance with national laws, statutory obligations, company policies and business Processes.
  • Periodically audit the business operations to ensure process adherence and business continuity.
  • Generate various reports and provide to the MD and Company Executive Directors on time.
  • Review overdue invoices for all customers on monthly basis
  • Ensure invoicing is made as per company guidelines and keep proper track of collections.
  • Ensure collection of all bills within the stipulated period.
  • Mentoring the sales team and operational staff with positive attitude and ensure they achieve set targets
  • Weekly and monthly monitoring of performance and review of sales & operational staff
  • Key Deliverables :

  • Increase revenue & achieve the sales target on a monthly basis
  • Increase market share in Employee Transport and Car Rental market
  • Ensure customer retention and manage vehicle attrition.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

  • An ability to manage all aspects of the rental car business from Customer Service, Sales, Fleet Management, Maintenance, Vehicle Service, Vehicle Replenishment and Financial Analysis
  • Strong management, communications, interpersonal relationship, customer service, problem solving, fleet management, operations savvy and sales skills
  • Market Knowledge and Computer Literacy
  • A deep desire to work with and lead others as a team to build a business that is both fast paced and continually improving
