We are currently searching for an enthusiasticHR extraordinaire to become an integral part of the HR team. Reporting to theManaging Director, you will manage the complete HR function and HR operationsfor the business.
You will provide HR advice and support, performancemanagement, safety, training, recruitment, internal communications, talentmanagement, driving culture and engagement across the business.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource / Business Administration, or relevant discipline from a recognized University or College
At least 3 years’ post service working experience
Professional qualification in Human Resource Management
Professional qualification in Regulatory Affairs and Compliance
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar position
HR Administration & recruitment experience
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in the use of software relevant to the position, e.g. Microsoft Office suite, Excel
Be reliable and flexible
Demonstrated conflict management skills
Ability to work as a part of a team and autonomously and be resourceful
Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, promotions, transfers, terminations and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems, payroll and auditing for accuracy and compliance
Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
Responsible for managing Regulatory, Legal and Compliance practices and affairs
Analyze trends and metrics to develop proactive solutions, programs, and policies that support the needs of our teams and contribute creative ideas for continuous improvement
Provide proactive thinking and results in the operational area of talent management, ensuring a balance between strong process management and getting things done quickly and in a non-bureaucratic way
Maximize employee satisfaction and retention
Manage administrative and office operations
Responsible for remuneration, employee benefits, staffing, management and reporting, organizational structure, job design and evaluation and HR policy design and implementation
Proactively contribute to the positive performance culture of the business, assisting with setting and managing KPIs, annual reviews and subsequent improvement plans.
Acts as an employee advocate and mediator with employee relations concerns and handles human resources legal issues as required.
Utilizes excellent communication and interpersonal skills; successfully establishes and maintains professional relationships and works effectively with all levels of management and employees.
